NGSE Students Work in Print (2019)

Well, it’s been another incredible journey and I am so excited to share the finished work of our National Geographic Student Expeditions students from our time in Nepal over the last few weeks. Similar to last year, we encouraged students to dig deep into a topic that interested them while in Nepal and to write, draw, photograph, or video their stories. Thanks to the wonderful support of our Nepali friends and fixers, we had the opportunity to interview families impacted by the earthquake and subsequent aftershocks in 2015, to learn about the various foods and traditions of Nepal, to explore environmental issues and development issues, to learn about Buddhism and Hinduism. We were extremely impressed by their passion and ability to dive in. Click the image below to see the full document as compiled by the incredible Kiki Baxter!
